Data and access security

With analyser and communication systems full of data worth protecting, the aspect of data and access security through physically-restricted access becomes essential.

Back-racking of computers

Back-racking describes the relocation of computers back into the server room and thus away from the public danger zone. This sanction prevents unauthorized physical access to computers with sensitive data.

With back-racking, the CPUs are relocated to an access-controlled, air-conditioned server room. Only the user console (monitor, mouse and keyboard) as well as possible further peripherals such as a barcode scanner, USB printer, etc. remain at the local workstation.
