DVI-D Matrix Switch

The DVI-D Matrix Switch distinguishes not only with its brilliant video quality for all resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 @ 60Hz, but also with a rich application set independent from the operating system used. As a Repeater, it extends a computer connected with a corresponding local unit from your console up to 250m over CATx cable respectivling using the SFP model with the appropriate SFO modules up to 400 m over Multimode and up to tremendous 10km over singlemoge cable. Use it as a Matrix Switch to control up to 7 computers with a DVI-D interface each connected with a local unit. Optionally the transmission of stereo audio and serial data is also possible. Last but not least it work as a state-of-the-art USB KVM Switch allowing you to run up to 7 DVI-D computers with one or two video heads over a console in up to 10km distance.

Ideal application scenarios are control centres, Digital Signage and other applications, where you have to access multiple displays over a great distance.

7-Port Repeater
As a Repeater the DVI Matrix Switch allows you to access a computer connected to a local unit in up to 250m over your existing CATx network infrastructure. The signals received are distributed to 7 equivalent outputs. These outputs can be connected with 7 DVD-D Displays connected to a remote unit in 125m distance. Thus you can manage DVI-D signals and depending on the local/remote units also audio and serial data over a distance up to 250m. The distance may be father extended by connecting another DVI-D Matrix Switch as Repeater instead of a display. Für very öong distances choose the AC4000-SFP and a Mulitmode SFP module for distances up to 400m or a Singlemode SFP for to establish links up to 10.000m

8-Port Matrix Switch
This application allows you to control up to 7 computers with a DVI-D interface connected over a local extender unit with the DVD-D Matrix Switch. The transmission of stereo audio and serial data is also possible. The signals received are distributed to the remaining outputs and transferred to the displays connected with a remote unit in up to 125m @ CATx, 200m @ 50/125 multimode or 5.000 m distance ober singlemode. Thus you gain multiple options for combining video sources and displays, i.e. distribute 3 different video sources to 5 DVD-D displays or reproduce 6 video sources on 2 displays, etc. If your systems grows, add further video sources and/or displays by adding a second DVI-D Matrix Switch instead of a computer or display. Switching is trigged always over a serial interface.

7:1 USB KVM Switch
The DVI Matrix Switch works also as a USB KVM Switch. Access up to 7 computers with DVI-D interface (single link) over a console with DVI-monitor, USB keyboard and USB mouse in 250m distance. But the DVI-D Matrix Switch can do more KVM switching. Computers with 2 separate DVI_D video heads, stereo audio and serial data transmission are also supported. That way you may control up to 3 dual video computers over a single remote USB-console. In both applications - single and dual video - the computers are connected through an appropriate local extender unit and the USB-console with a remote extender unit. If the system grows, cascade the DVD-D Matrix Switch to control up to 49 single-video or 9 dual-video computers. Switch between the computers using convenient keyboard hotkeys, the serial interface or sequent buttons on the switch's front panel.

Featuring a compact, rugged design the switch fits on each desktop. Alternate up to 4 switches can be mounted 1U 19" rack space.
